The front lip is an exact match to the front contour of the base if a 20D, 30D,40D, or 50D to prevent rotation. Carefully machined to be smooth to the touch and not hang up when placing in a camera pack. Mount the camera in either direction or use our C-90 right angle bracket because of our unique bi-directional design. Switch from collared lenses to un-collared lenses without repositioning the tripod head. Fully ARCA compatible like all 4th Generation Design plates.
