Midsized housings like the Sea & Sea RDX, Olympus PT, and others need a handle system to comfortably hold the camera and mount strobe or focusing lights. Our SH-MID handle provides that needed grip and two integrated 1" ball ends for strobe and focus light mounting. The grip is made of our nearly indestructible foam thermally bonded to an aluminum arm. The handle mounts to the housing with two captive screws that can be loosened slightly to slide the handle to the side when opening the housing. We believe Midsized Housings are incomplete without an attachable handle system (some manufactures call it a tray system). Our SH-MID is the best offering on the market featuring lower travel weight and partial buoyancy correction. Travel weight: 8.5 ounces. (250 grams) Buoyancy: negative 5 ounces. (140 grams) (Most manufactures would call this "nearly neutral" but a number of "nearly neutrals" quickly add up to truly negative.)
